Providing a feed for your website is a great way to let people know its been updated and to invite them to come back read your new content.

On The Wild Wild Web, it means your website will appear in the news feed of a category and the frontpage news feed.

Your website can only have one feed and it must be "pretty" to read for humans. What makes up a pretty feed is subjective but also obvious:

    - A date. If your feed is missing dates, your entire feed won't be shown.

    - A succint title. If your title is missing or too cryptic, your entire feed won't be shown. Long titles are truncated to around 100 chars.

    - A short description. If your description is too cryptic, it won't be shown. Long descriptions are truncated to around 300 chars.

In all cases, HTML is stripped and newlines are removed.
