    The Curator's Handbook

    I published a curator's handbook to describe the kind of websites I accept in this directory. It's pretty much what goes through my mind while I'm digging through thousands of websites to find the good stuff.

    The summary of the handbook is:

    - MUST be written in english.

    - MUST be moderated.

    - MUST offer free content for anonymous users.

    - MUST be apolitical.

    - MUST be areligious.

    - MUST be decent.

    - MUST NOT be redundant / slop.

    - MUST NOT be governemental.

    - MUST NOT use dark patterns.

    - MUST NOT offer a service.

    - MAY have a paid offering.

    Like many things in life, it's still very much a work-in-progress.
